Rededication of Woolsey Park This Weekend

by Mary Galioto

On Saturday, October 14, at 9am, Hopewell Township will be rededicating Woolsey Park, formerly named “Alliger Park,” at 221 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, Titusville, NJ.

Members of the Woolsey family, for whom the park is now named, will be honored by Hopewell Township Mayor Kevin Kuchinski. The rededication is also an opportunity to kick off the celebration of the 320 year incorporation, and learn more about the heritage of Hopewell Township and the Woolsey family, who lived on the farm for approximately 300 years.

While you are at the park, stop by the Hopewell Valley Arts Council’s Amazing Pumpkin Carve, also located at Woolsey Park this year. For more information about the Amazing Pumpkin Carve click this link: https://www.hvartscouncil.org/plan-your-visit-pumpkin-carve-2017/.
