Thieves Targeting Unlocked Vehicles, Princeton Police Warn

by MercerMe Staff

Princeton Police Department announced today that there has been a rash of car burglaries reported on Mercer Road, Fleming Way and the surrounding vicinity. In all of the cases, the vehicles were not locked.

The Princeton Police department asks that residents, “Lock your doors, remove or hide your belongings and take your car keys with you. Not doing so just makes things very easy for thieves who rely on opportunity to commit criminal acts. Please report any suspicious activity to Princeton Police immediately upon noticing. Thanks, and stay safe, Princeton!”
