To Hopewell area locals, this might be a familiar sight: a truck with its top rolled back like a tin can along Pennington-Hopewell Road (RT 654) along the Stony Brook in Hopewell Township.
Lieutenant James Russo of the Hopewell Township Police Department reported to MercerMe that incidents such as the one that occurred this morning at around 9am happens “a handful of times throughout the year” and is due to “a truck fail[ing] to observe the height restriction sign.”
Even as this article is published at 1:30pm Tuesday, April 12, locals can still expect road closures and detours.
