8th Annual Trinity Turkey Trot

Thursday, November 26, 2015 at 8:30 AM
Trinity Church 33 Mercer Street, Princeton, NJ

The 2014 race attracted a record 1,500 runners and walkers. The 5K is run on the historic and legendary streets of Princeton and has become a tradition for many area families. The race is a sanctioned Grand Prix event by the USA Track and Field organization.

Four local charities benefit from this year’s 5K Run and Walk: The Crisis Ministry of Mercer County, Urban Promise of Trenton, Trenton Children’s Chorus, and Housing Initiatives of Princeton.

$40 for walk-up registration

There are 17 different age brackets running from 9 and under to 85 and older. The winners will be presented with medals, and both men and women first place finishers in each bracket will receive a pie to add to their Thanksgiving celebration.  This year’s race is also sponsored by 15 area businesses.

Each runner is encouraged to bring with them canned food items that will be donated to The Crisis Ministry, whose van will be located in the race registration area at Trinity Church, located at 33 Mercer Street in Princeton.  Registration can be made on line at www.trinityturkeytrot.org.
