Vehicle Sought in Hamilton Homicide Investigation, Victim Identified

The death of a woman whose body was found Tuesday morning in Hamilton Township has been ruled a homicide. At approximately 9:10 a.m. on Tuesday October 6, Hamilton police received a call regarding a body in a weeded area in Roebling Park off of Sewell Street. Police responded to the location and found the victim, identified as 38-year-old Jessica Prusik of Hamilton Township.

An autopsy was completed Tuesday afternoon and the death has been ruled a homicide. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division are continuing their investigation. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available. The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Hamilton Police Division are also attempting to locate a vehicle in connection with the homicide of 38-year-old Jessica Prusik, whose body was discovered Tuesday morning in Roebling Park. Anyone with information on the location of the vehicle is asked to contact Mercer County Homicide Task Force Detective Luis Vega at (609) 278-2720 or the Hamilton police tipline at (609) 581-4008.

The vehicle is described as a black 1992 Ford F150 extended cab with New Jersey registration L44 ERU. The vehicle is similar in appearance to the attached photos. (Photos DO NOT depict the actual vehicle.)
