DESCRIPTION:Appreciation of the changes that turn day into night in less than 2 hours can add to the enchantment of this liminal time. You will be invited to imagine how you can use changes in light\, fragrance\, and sound to enhance your experience of your garden or simply a walk outdoors. In the process\, you will learn the importance of darkness to night pollinators and the rest of the living world and how you can support these often-overlooked creatures of the night.\n\n\nAnn Sherwood has a lifelong passion for the wonders of nature. As a cell biologist\, she has studied how animal cells communicate. Since retiring\, she has turned her attention to plants and the world they inhabit. She is a Rutgers Master Gardener and is active in the Monmouth County Chapter of the Native Plant Society of NJ and Dark Sky NJ. \n\n\nThis program is being brought to you by the Hopewell Public Library and DarkSky Hopewell.\n\n\nRegistration is required.\nPlease register using this link.
