Weather Alert about Tropical Storm Joaquin

by Mary Galioto

The West Windsor Police Department sent out the following alert to the public about the approach of Tropical Storm Joaquin:

We should see storm related issues some time beginning Sunday 10/4/2015. All of this may change depending on the track of the storm. This advisory is so you have time to prepare for the worst and hope for sunny skies! Make sure generators are ready. Prepared food is on hand (fluffernutter sandwich, also known as the Liberty Sandwich, email me and I will send the recipe). Batteries in portable devices and flashlights as well as making sure pets have a plan as well. Please go to http://www.ready.gov/hurricanes for everything you need to stay safe and get ready.

More information will follow as the storm gets closer.
