With Snow in the Forecast, Hopewell Township May Be Slow to Clear

by Mary Galioto

The weather forecast for tomorrow, March 20, is for the possibility of snow. Due to the fire at the Hopewell Township Public Works Building, snow removal will occur in Hopewell Township with the aid of vehicles provided by Ewing Township, Lawrence Township, Mercer County and Pennington Borough combined with the remaining smaller trucks in the public works fleet not damaged by the fire will help the township with its snow removal and deicing operations during this event.

Even with additional mutual aid vehicles, the Township has reduced capabilities. Please note that snow removal and deicing operations, should they be required, will take longer to perform. The Township and its staff express appreciations for everyone’s patience while the Township continues to recover from the Public Works garage fire.
