by Mary Galioto

Tomorrow, Saturday February 14th, Dr. Kristopher Young, Specialist in Cardiovascular Disease and Dr. Jill Young, both affiliated with Capital Health, will be speaking to women about the warnings signs of heart disease and what they need to know to stay heart-healthy.

The event will be hosted at Flutter Boutique in Pennington at 3pm.

“I am committed to the issues that are important to women, and as someone with heart disease, this issue is particularly close to my heart,” said Flutter Boutique owner, Linda Martin, who was also the recipient of this year’s Pennington Business of the Year Award from the Pennington Economic Development Commission.

Capital Health is providing participating businesses with printed materials intended to educate women on a heart-healthy lifestyle and how to avoid heart disease, the number one killer of women.

Additionally, several Pennington businesses will be hosting open house tomorrow including: Amber Spa, The Fashionaires, Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio, The Painter’s Loft, The Front Porch, Twirl Toy Shop and Flutter Boutique.
