Please join Hope Rises Up on Monday, November 20th for a Candlelight Vigil in honor of Transgender Day of Remembrance. We will gather at 6PM at the basketball court by the Hopewell Borough Train Station, 2 Railroad Place, Hopewell. Candles will be provided.

A tradition that started in 1999 by transgender advocate Gwendolyn Ann Smith, It is an annual vigil where we honor our Transgender ancestors, remember the lives lost and the violence the Transgender community faces because of transphobia.

If you use Facebook, please help spread the word by RSVP’ing to theFacebook event and inviting your friends.

Please also save the date for LGBTQ+ 301, to be held on the evening of Saturday, January 27th. A follow up to the program we offered in January 2022, it will feature panels, breakout sessions and community resources. Stay tuned for updates!
