Bike and Pedestrian Safety Workshop

Kick off the summer season by learning some essential rules of the road and how to navigate the road safely as you bike and walk around town. This presentation will be for parents, families, and elementary-aged children. The workshop focuses on the importance of wearing a helmet properly, understanding and adhering to the rules of the road, and acquiring essential skills for biking, walking, and safely crossing the street. By the end of the workshop, you’ll feel equipped with the knowledge and confidence to navigate the streets around town with ease.

This workshop will be presented by: The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey. Their organization was founded in 1981 by a small group of concerned parents of children who had sustained brain injury. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for anyone impacted by brain injury by providing support, advocacy, and information, while promoting brain injury prevention.
