Ensemble Sangineto, one of the most popular groups in the Italian folk music scene, performs traditional Celtic and Italian tunes, as well original songs that reflect diverse influences – classical, folk, pop, and Gregorian Chant. Adriano and Caterina Sangineto, and guitarist and bouzouki player Jacopo Ventura blend ancient melodies and modern rhythms. The pure and magic tones of their instruments – harp, bowed psaltery, and guitar – blend with the trio’s vocal harmonies to evoke a dreamlike, light, and joyful atmosphere.
