We know it mostly as Route 206, but today as in years gone by it has been known by many other names, almost 20 in fact. They include the Assunpink Trail used by the Lenni Lenape, the Kings Highway traveled by armies on both sides in the American Revolution, the Lincoln Highway in the early days of the automotive age, and Main Street in the village of Lawrenceville. Join us on Wednesday, October 11, 7pm to learn about the twists and turns and ups and downs of the 400-year history of Lawrence’s main thoroughfare. Presented by Dennis Waters, former Lawrence Township Historian. Please visit www.mcl.org to register to receive the link to program.
