On Wednesday, November 30, 7pm,Robert Sands and Patricia Millen provide an illustrated lecture on their recently-published book Images of America:Washington Crossing, exploring the history of the site of General George Washington’s crossing of the Delaware River with his Continental Army in 1776 to the Battle of Trenton– through the creation of both parks that mark its place in memorial. The talk will detail the history chronologically and bring the story of both the NJ and PA parks and the people who helped create them up to the present day, where an annual reenactment of the crossing continues every year.
