Are you considering homeschooling your child in New Jersey? Has your child asked to be homeschooled, but you don’t know where you would even start? On Tuesday, June 4, at 7 pm, a panel of experienced homeschooling parents will cover the basics of homeschooling in New Jersey, including homeschooling law, the range of approaches to homeschooling, resources and communities that support homeschooling (in-person and online), paths after homeschooling (high school, college, work, trades, etc.). Panelists include: Heather Sia, homeschooling parent and staff member at Princeton Learning Cooperative in Princeton, NJ; April Vanco, homeschooling parent and co-founder of Creekside Homeschool Co-op in Hopewell, NJ; and Joel Hammon, staff member at Princeton Learning Cooperative and former public school teacher. Following the presentation, attendees will have an opportunity to ask the panelists questions.
