Join Dr. Ruth Ochs and the Westminster Community Orchestra for Song, Dance, and Fun: a Family Concert on Sunday, March 30th at 3:00 p.m. in Hillman Hall, in the Cullen Center, on the Westminster campus, Walnut Lane, in Princeton. There are no tickets required; a suggested admission of $5/person cash will be collected at the door.
The 45-minute program, recommended for families with children 4 and up, will feature lovely and lightheartedworks including Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty waltz, Faure’s Pavane, and the Scherzo from Dvorak’s Symphony No. 5, as well as music from How to Train Your Dragon and Frozen, plus an interactive work by Andrew McPherson, Concerto for Audience and Orchestra, where families will provide accompaniment to the orchestra. Emily Boksner, the third-place winner of the Westminster Conservatory Piano Concerto competition, will perform the second movement from Mozart’s Piano Concerto in A major.
