by Amie Rukenstein

On January 23, 2024 at approximately 6am, Hopewell Township Police Department, with assistance from the Mercer County Tactical Response Team, executed arrest and search warrants at a Valley Road address. The operation was conducted as part of an extensive investigation into burglaries that occurred across Hopewell Valley over the past year.

Two suspects, one living at the Valley Road address, and one from New Hope, were arrested and charged with multiple counts of Burglary, Theft, Criminal Mischief, Burglar Tools, and Criminal Trespassing.

The Valley Road property was searched by Detectives of the Hopewell Township Police Department. Efforts will be made to positively identify any stolen property so that return can be made to the victims.

Hopewell Township Police Department would like to thank our community for their support and information sharing throughout the investigation. We are committed to protecting and maintaining a safe community with your partnership.
