$23,200 in Ecstasy, Assorted Pills Seized by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force

A weeklong investigation into the distribution of narcotics conducted by the Mercer County Narcotics Task Force (MCNTF) culminated this week with one arrest and the seizure of various narcotics totaling approximately $23,200, Mercer County Prosecutor Janetta D. Marbrey reported.

Following an investigation conducted by the MCNTF, with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Ewing, Hamilton and police, a search warrant was obtained for the New Willow Street, Trenton.  On March 26, 2026, a man was detained in Ewing Township in his 2010 Hyundai Elantra.  A search of the vehicle and Trenton residence revealed approximately 180 grams in ecstasy; oxycodone, amphetamine and Xanax pills; drug paraphernalia; and approximately $2,300 in cash.   

He was charged with multiple first- and second-degree narcotic offenses.  The prosecutor’s office has filed a motion to detain him pending trial.According to Prosecutor Marbrey, the approximate street value of the confiscated narcotics is $21,000 in ecstasy and $2,200 in assorted pills
