Join the third annual Color Fun Run & Walk, hosted by the Hopewell Valley Arts Council, at Woolsey Park on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 3 to 4 pm. Whether you choose to walk, run, or do anything in between, get ready to transform into a technicolor masterpiece while supporting Hopewell Valley’s arts nonprofit. Rain date: Sunday, May 5, 2024.
Your colorful adventure starts at the new Hopewell Township bandshell where multiple waves of runners and walkers will set out on the fun-run course. Enjoy entertainment and a dance party with music and warm-up/entertainment by hula hoop master Angela of ‘Color Me Hoopy’. The run culminates with a lively group color toss. Remember to capture your colorful moments at the selfie station. And treat yourself to Johnson’s homemade ice cream, available for purchase.
Complete your Saturday errands and sports activities early, then come out to have some fun! A white shirt is a must, but consider adding white headbands, shorts, or knee socks, and watch them turn from pristine white to rainbow in minutes. If you and your team want to go all out, wear a crazy hat or costume. Since it’s Star Wars “May the 4th be With You” day, Star Wars-theme attire is encouraged!
