Assemblyman Wayne P. DeAngelo, Chairman of the Assembly Telecommunications and Utilities Committee, will co-host a Utility Job Fair on Sunday, November 10, alongside the New Jersey Utilities Association (NJUA), to connect job seekers with leading employers in the state’s utility sector.
The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Mercer County Community College Conference Center, located at 1200 Old Trenton Road in West Windsor Township.
“As someone who came up through the trades, I know firsthand the value of a hard day’s work and the pride that comes with building a career that keeps our communities running,” said Assemblyman DeAngelo (D-Mercer, Middlesex). “This job fair is about more than filling positions — it’s about creating solid opportunities for New Jersey workers and their families.”
The Utility Job Fair will feature employers from across the electric, gas, water, and telecommunications industries, offering residents a chance to speak directly with recruiters, learn about available openings, and explore pathways to stable, well-paying careers that support New Jersey’s critical infrastructure.
Employers expected to attend include PSE&G, Jersey Central Power & Light, South Jersey Industries (SJI), New Jersey American Water, and others.
“The utility sector has long been a backbone of New Jersey’s workforce, and we’re proud to help connect people with good, stable, and meaningful jobs that power our state each and every day,” said Richard Henning, NJUA President and Chief Executive Officer.
