Hopewell Fire Department to Host Annual Open House Oct. 11

by Community Contributor

The Hopewell Fire Department and Emergency Medical Unit invites residents to its annual Open House on Sunday, Oct. 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The free, family-friendly event offers the community a chance to get an up-close look at the equipment and volunteers that keep the borough safe. Attendees can explore fire apparatus and EMS vehicle displays, meet firefighters and emergency medical personnel, and enjoy food and refreshments throughout the afternoon.

Activities are geared toward all ages, giving families and children an opportunity to learn more about how their local first responders work.

Organizers are encouraging residents to “explore, learn and support” their local fire department. The Open House also provides an opportunity to meet the volunteers who serve the community and learn more about their work.

The Open House is free and open to the public.
