Celebration of Old Trees art show will be open to the public in the 200-year-old barn at Terhune Orchards from November 19 to December 11. Thirty-four paintings and photographs by noted artists will tell the story of the century old apple trees at the original Terhune Orchards.
Entries were judged by well-known local artist Micheal Madigan and Joelle Hofbauer’s “Stormy Skies Over Apple Trees” won Best in Show. Hofbauer and all the artist will be honored at the reception on Saturday, November 19 from 1-3 pm.
Some of the artists available to discuss their work with the public. Select pieces will be for sale. No admission fee required.
Join to celebrate old trees, those who take are of them, and those who love them. Stay for tour of the old apple tree orchard by Pam and Gary Mount. Gary will have a short reading from his book, A Farmer’s Life, chapter “Joy of Planting Trees”
The exhibit will be on view 12-5pm Saturdays and Sundays from Nov 19 to Dec 11.
