Aunt Chubby’s celebrates Earth Day

This Saturday, check out the Earth Day Celebration at Aunt Chubby’s in Hopewell, NJ! The event will feature area partner organizations along with activities for the whole family, including cooking demonstrations, beekeeping exhibits, face painting, a seed ball station, and more. 

Saturday evening, join Aunt Chubby’s at the Hopewell Theater for a film screening of The Seeds of Vandana Shiva. A panel discussion about seeds after the film will feature several friends of NOFA NJ, including Cathy Snyder (Rolling Harvest Food Rescue), James Klett (Fairgrown Farm), and others. About the Host: Aunt Chubby’s has been a legendary staple of the Hopewell community for over 30 years. Today, the cafe boasts an incredible menu sourcing local and organic ingredients, special events, and a free food pantry just outside the front door.

In 2020, The Chubby’s Project was launched, distributing meals to residents in need and raising awareness for area hunger relief efforts.
