by Community Contributor

Due to severe deterioration of the substructure, superstructure, deck and parapet, Cleveland Road over Stony Brook in Hopewell Township is scheduled for repairs by the Mercer County Department of Transportation & Infrastructure. Work is expected to begin Monday, May 8, with an anticipated completion time of approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Cleveland Road will be closed to through traffic throughout the duration of this project. However, access will be permitted for local residents and municipal and emergency vehicles on either side of the bridge. Motorists will be directed to use Carter Road, Rosedale Road, Elm Road, Great Road, Pretty Brook Road and Province Line Road.
