The Hopewell Township Police reported this afternoon that police personnel are on the scene of a motor vehicle crash along North Route 31 near the Hopewell Valley Car Wash. At least one utility pole is damaged and there are wires down. The northbound and southbound lanes remain open but motorists may experience delays through this area.

UPDATE: Hopewell Township Police posted on social media the following message at approximately 3pm on 6/29/15: The vehicle involved with this crash has been removed from the scene. Fortunately, no one was injured. Verizon personnel will remain on scene making repairs to the poles. Traffic lanes should remain open, but motorists should expect minor delays during the repair work.
