Crowds enjoy rehearsal of Revolutionary War reenactors crossing the Delaware River

It was a beautiful day to get out to Washington Crossing State Park. Traffic was jammed as throngs of people enjoyed the rehearsal of the reenactment of Washington’s troops crossing the Delaware. The event memorializes the famous crossing of December 25, 1776, to turn the tide of the war during the 10 crucial days of the Revolution. The big show will be December 25, 12-2pm, weather permitting. For more information, click here. Thanks, as always, to intrepid photographer Mike Chipowsky for the wonderful photographs!
