30th Anniversary Latin Creations

Roxey Ballet presents Latin Creations, an extraordinary evening of dance celebrating Latino-Hispanic and Afro-Caribbean culture through the voices of BIPOC choreographers. As part of Roxey Ballet’s 30th Anniversary Season, this dynamic program features three compelling works, including the world premiere of Jibaro, choreographed by Artistic Director Mark Roxey.
The evening also includes Frida Kahlo, inspired by the life of the iconic Mexican artist, and Mary Luz, based on the writings of Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni. With choreography by Mark Roxey and Giovanni Ravelo, the performance offers a powerful blend of storytelling, culture, and movement that highlights identity, heritage, and lived experience.
Latin Creations takes place on Friday, May 1st at 7:00 PM at 46 N Sugan Rd, New Hope, PA. Tickets are $25 ($15 for children 18 and under), with an optional $5 donation in celebration of Roxey Ballet’s 30th Anniversary Season.
