Community Journalism “J Lab” Certificate Program

Are you thinking about New Year’s resolutions and looking to get more involved in your community or learn something new? Here’s a way to do both. Mercer County Community College is offering a free, in-person, eight-evening Community Journalism “J Lab” certificate program starting Thursday, January 23 at 6-8:30 pm. Participants will learn the basic newswriting and reporting skills needed to cover issues of concern to their community. Sessions are led by a journalism professor and include guest presentations from writers and editors from several community publications.
