Flag Retirement Ceremony

Mercer County will hold its annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at Veterans Park in Hamilton.

Residents are invited to attend and honor worn and unserviceable American flags through a respectful retirement ceremony. Flags may be dropped off in advance at designated collection locations throughout Mercer County.

When: Tuesday, June 9, 6 p.m.
Rain date: Thursday, June 11
Where: Veterans Park, Klockner Road entrance, Hamilton

Flag drop-off locations:

  • McDade Administration Building, Office of Veteran Affairs, 640 S. Broad St., Trenton
  • Mercer County Connection, Route 33 at Paxson Ave., Hamilton
  • Mercer County Library, Lawrence Headquarters Branch, Darrah Lane, Lawrence
  • Mercer County Office Park, 1440 Parkside Ave., Ewing
