Hopewell Harvest Fair Celebrates its 33rd year with
Live Music, Food, Games, Contests, Farmers, and Crafters
**Saturday, September 21, 2019, 10 AM-4 PM**
The Hopewell Harvest Fair is back for its 33rd year! This annual event brings together thousands of people from the Hopewell Valley for a day of fun, family, entertainment, and true community connection. The Harvest Moon Concert kicks off the weekend followed by a full day of fair festivities.
The beloved Hopewell Harvest Fair features live music all day, the widely popular live scavenger hunt, traditional fair contests for all ages, a fantastic selection of food, and fun activities including:
Music: 1st Constitution Bank is proudly sponsoring the musical line-up under the main tent. Enjoy amazing music all day with: Skip Livingston’s Occasional Dixieland Band, American-Folk with Charlotte Kendrick, Brian Elliot, The Brooks Brothers Blues Band, and Rockcital with kids from Hopewell, Pennington, Lawrence and West Windsor.
Fun and Games: Petting Zoo with Mercer County 4H, straw maze, pony rides sponsored by Morgan R. Sayre, State Farm Insurance (10:30 to 3:30 PM), giant inflatable slide and 40-foot obstacle course, build-your-own-scarecrow, Find Freddy (a live scavenger hunt!), face-painting, Kids Korner, and free country games including sack races, donuts-on-a-string and more! (Prices posted at each event and at the Ticket Tent.)
Traditional Fair Contests: Bake-off, homegrown vegetable display (including prize for ugliest carrot!), doggie dress-up, kids art and lego contest, photography contest (More info and contest deadlines listed below. Register at: https://www.hopewellharvestfair.org/contest-registration)
Town Square: New this year! In an effort to get back to its historic roots, this year’s Harvest Fair adds the exciting new Town Square, which will create a more engaging and personal atmosphere for all fairgoers and vendors. Local businesses and nonprofits bring fun and free activities for fair goers of all ages. “Pop-up” shops will sell and exhibit local retailer’s goods.
Crafters Court: Sponsored by dandelion wishes, this fair favorite features local businesses handmade goods and wares.
Food and Farms: Fine local food and drinks from Antimo’s Italian Kitchen, Northeast Kettle Korn, Sweet Sourland Farms, Thana Thai, Tomatello’s, Veda Kitchen and more!
