Sked Street Bonsai and Sculpture Garden
Join us for a lecture on bonsai basics, a guided garden tour, and a Q&A session at the Sked Street Bonsai Garden. The exact location will be given prior to the event.
Discover the basics of Bonsai with Carl Stern at the Sked Street Bonsai and Sculpture Garden, the location of the Central Jersey Bonsai Club. Learn about the history, design, care, and maintenance of bonsai trees. The Sked Street Bonsai Garden includes more than 100 trees and 40 species. Some of these trees have been “in training” for over 30 years. This is Mr. Stern’s 42nd year of “doing Bonsai.”
With the addition of more than ten sculptures from the USA, France, Netherlands, Austria, Korea, China and Israel, the Sked Street Bonsai Garden has become the Sked Street Bonsai and Sculpture Garden! Prestigious pots (containers) from Japan, USA and Europe are also featured throughout the Garden.
