The Monarch Migration Journey in New Jersey

June 6 @ 7:00 pm

Join the Mercer County Library System virtually on Thursday, June 6, at 7pm for an enlightening presentation by Jack McDonough, a leading monarch butterfly researcher and the Field Coordinator of the Cape May Monarch Monitoring Project under New Jersey Audubon. In his talk, Jack will cover the full, multi-generational cycle of the Monarch migration phenomenon, their biology, breeding ecology, challenges they encounter, and – most importantly – what we can do to help this struggling species. He will also explore Cape May’s unique geography and emphasize the urgent need to preserve and restore New Jersey’s coastline. Sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Library. Please visit  www.mcl.org to register to receive the link to program.
