Local farmers are invited to attend a free Farmer Resource Conference on Friday, March 6, at Howell Living History Farm, focused on connecting Mercer County producers with practical resources, agencies, and support programs.

The conference will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is designed to offer hands-on information and networking opportunities for farmers at all stages. Lunch will be provided.
According to the event flyer, the program will include:
- Presentations and guest speakers
- A farmer panel discussion
- Demonstrations led by the Howell Farm team
- Networking opportunities with county and agricultural partners
- In-person applications for farm vehicle plates
- Recycling for clean pesticide containers
The event is open to farmers throughout Mercer County, and advance registration is required by February 22, 2026.
The conference is being supported by Mercer County and Rutgers Cooperative Extension, with a focus on making county and state resources more accessible to the local farming community.
