by Community Contributor

On Friday, June 13, 2025, at approximately 6:48 a.m., officers from the Lawrence Township Police Department responded to the intersection of Franklin Corner Road and Princeton Pike for a report of a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the motorcycle operator unconscious at the scene. Life-saving measures were initiated, and the driver was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where he was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. The victim was identified as Benjamin Boyers, 44 years old, of Levittown, Pennsylvania.

A preliminary investigation indicated that Mr. Boyers was operating a 2023 Royal Enfield motorcycle eastbound on Franklin Corner Road when he lost control and struck a telephone pole.

As a result of the crash, Franklin Corner Road eastbound between Princeton Pike and Brunswick Pike was temporarily closed while the scene was under investigation.

The incident remains under investigation by the Lawrence Township Police Department in coordination with the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Serious Collision Response Team.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has additional information is asked to contact Detective Paulina Way #233 at (609) 844-7133 or via email at [email protected].
