Get into the holiday spirit with two wintery events in Titusville – December 12

by MercerMe Staff

Everyone knows about and loves the annual crossing of the Delaware by re-enactors of General Washington and his crew on Christmas Day. But for the same experience with less crowds, head on down to the Nelson house from noon to 2pm. Click here for more info.

When you’ve been outside long enough and are ready for some sit-down entertainment, stroll on over to the Titusville Presbyterian Church for a concert by the Hopewell Valley Pops Orchestra.

The concert will be the end-of-season concert for the Orchestra’s fall 2021 season. It will feature a wide selection of music, including some holiday music, music from television/movies/video games, some classical marches, original compositions by our musical director Sean Ryan, and a new arrangement of Miles Davis’ “Blue In Green” for strings only by Jack Furlong.

Members of the orchestra are all ages above the age of 13 and from the larger community. Some members are in middle school, some are in high school, and some are professionals. More information can be found at  www.hvcamp.org.

The concert will be at Titusville Presbyterian Church at 3pm. Tickets are $15 (cash only) and can be purchased at the door.
