Hope Loves Company welcomes three new board members

Hope Loves Company, a Pennington-based non-profit established in 2012 that provides educational and emotional support to the children and grandchildren of “PALS,” people living with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is proud to announce the newest members of its Board of Directors. ALS is a terminal, neuromuscular disease for which there is currently no cure. Today, 30,000 Americans live with ALS and most of them have children.

Joining the Hope Loves Company (“HLC”) Board of Trustees are Joseph Tredinnick, Dr. Ron Suzuki and Jack Tatar.

Joseph Tredinnick of Collingswood, NJ has been with TD Bank, since 1992 and is currently the Regional Vice President of Burlington, Camden and Mercer Counties.  He is on the board of many local nonprofits. Joe lost his friend Kevin O’Donnell (Jodi’s late husband) to ALS in 2001 and is happy to be serving on the HLC Board of Directors in Kevin’s memory.

12728930_1030853870307702_1635590486059497880_nDr. Ron Suzuki, M.D. of Lawrenceville, NJ, is the owner of Suzuki Medical Associates with offices in Pennington and Plainsboro, NJ.  He is a certified acupuncturist and the founder of Plainsboro Urgent Care. Dr. Suzuki is affiliated with the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. He has volunteered at Camp HLC and enjoys working with the brave children caregivers he meets.

Jack-Tatar-1-150x150Jack Tatar of Pennington, NJ is the founder of GEM Research Solutions. He has over 30 years of experience in retail, entertainment and financial services with executive positions in JP Morgan, Avon Products, and Merrill Lynch.  He is the author of  Safe 4 Retirement: The Four Keys to a Safe Retirement, Having the Talk: The Four Keys to Your Parents’ Safe Retirement, and What’s the Deal with Bitcoins?  Mr. Tatar’s company, People Tested Publishers recently published Jodi O’Donnell’s Ames book, Someone I Love Has ALS.

“All three of our newest Board members embody the spirit of community and bring enormous talent, compassion and excitement to our board,” said Jodi O’Donnell-Ames, Hope Loves Company’s Executive Director.

O’Donnell-Ames lost her husband Kevin O’Donnell to ALS in 2001. In 2003, she married widower Warren Ames and became a step-mother to Nora and Adam Ames, who lost their biological mother Tina Singer Ames to ALS in 2000. The family resides in Titusville, NJ.
