Hopewell Township Police Celebrate Successful Rescheduled National Night Out

by Mike Chipowsky

After a rainout, the Hopewell Township Police Department’s rescheduled National Night Out was a success on August 13 at Stony Brook Elementary School.

As an annual gathering, the large crowd was treated to hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream, DJ Bobby Jones, and a host of other activities including a rock climbing wall and bounce house.

As he watched the dunking tank, Chief Jim Rosso explained, “The National Night Out provides an opportunity for our officers to meet with and interact with all of our residents during a fun evening.”
