The Hopewell Township Police Department will host their annual National Night Out on Tuesday, Aug. 4, inviting residents to meet local first responders while enjoying an evening of family-friendly activities.
The free community event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stony Brook Elementary School, 20 Stephenson Road, Pennington.
National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that promotes partnerships between police departments and the communities they serve through neighborhood engagement and family activities.
This year’s Hopewell Township event will feature music, video games, a dunk tank, face painting and food, along with opportunities for residents to meet police officers and other first responders in a relaxed setting.
Organizers encourage families of all ages to attend and enjoy an evening focused on building community connections while learning more about the people who serve and protect Hopewell Township.
The event is free and open to the public.
