Hopewell Township to Host Clean Communities “Clean Sweep Day” on April 11

by Community Contributor

Volunteers are invited to take part in Hopewell Township’s annual Clean Communities “Clean Sweep Day” on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event will begin at the Hopewell Township Public Works Building and is part of the statewide Clean Communities initiative aimed at reducing litter and promoting environmental stewardship.

Residents, community groups, couples, and individuals are all encouraged to participate. Volunteers will help pick up litter throughout designated areas of the township, with protective gear provided. Participating organizations may also be eligible to earn funding through the program.

Township officials say the event is an opportunity for residents to work together to improve the local environment.

Participants are asked to sign up in advance and select their preferred cleanup location using the township’s registration form by scanning the QR code in the flier.
