Hopewell Township’s Stone Hill Manufacturing LLC celebrates cannabis license approvals

by Amie Rukenstein

Stone Hill Manufacturing LLC (Stone Hill), a leading innovator in the cannabis industry, has finally, after nearly two years, received approval from the State of its Class 1 and Class 2 annual license applications for a cannabis cultivation/manufacturing facility in Hopewell Township. The company received approval to proceed from the Township in December 2021 and has been making its way through the State approval system ever since.

In a press release, the company stated that these approvals represent a significant milestone in the company’s strategic growth plan, enabling it to establish a robust presence in the New Jersey market and provide exceptional cannabis products and experiences to consumers.

“The opportunity to be part of New Jersey’s cannabis market is an honor, one we take seriously. For us, it’s about applying the highest standards to the products we create, while also creating a meaningful and positive impact for our communities. That is what Stone Hill is all about. We look forward to announcing more exciting news about Stone Hill in the weeks ahead and thank the entire CRC team for their recognition,” said Stone Hill Co-Founder, Hopewell Township resident Jen Piasio.

Michael Ruger, Mayor of Hopewell Township, stated: ‘I am excited to hear Stone Hill’s application has been granted by the CRC. We look forward to welcoming this new business to the Township”.

The company said that the license approvals are a testament to its dedication to compliance, community engagement, and sustainable business practices. As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Stone Hill actively collaborates with local communities, prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of its operations. The company is committed to being a responsible steward of the environment and strives to minimize its ecological footprint.

Stone Hill said it intends to leverage its license approvals to launch an array of cutting-edge cannabis products, including premium strains, concentrates, edibles, and beverages. “With a talented team of experts in cultivation, extraction, and product development, the company is poised to lead the way in product innovation, setting new standards for quality and efficacy”.

“We are thrilled to receive our New Jersey cultivation and manufacturing approvals, which validate our ongoing commitment to excellence in the cannabis industry,” added Stone Hill’s Co-Founder, Hopewell Township resident Rob Piasio. “These approvals not only enable us to prepare for operations in New Jersey, but also empower us to implement innovative strategies and cultivate partnerships that will drive our business forward.
