The 2008G U9 Hopewell Valley Dust Devils ended their fall season undefeated once again with a record of 8-0-2. Dominating play in all tournaments, they came out victorious at the Cherry Hill Kick Fest Tournament with tough competition.
Their tournament win record is 4-0-1, giving an overall record of 12-0-3. Battling through all of their games in the tournament dressed as zombies, they were fierce and determined to come out victorious. Playing tough competition throughout the fall, the Dust Devils bested difficult teams such as PDA Verve, Sayreville, Elite PD SC Clash, Cedar Stars of Monmouth, and played their last game beating Cedar Stars Staten Island Dash.
These tough young ladies have improved their field awareness, positioning, passing, assists, defense, and goalkeeping to contribute to success on the field. The smiles, giggles, high fives, and encouragement create this team’s cohesion off the field. Taking a break for the winter, get ready to be “Dusted” in the spring by the Devils of Hopewell Valley Youth Soccer. They aren’t the first tenacious girls to go by the name Dust Devils. This year’s graduating class of Soccer Super Stars at Hopewell Valley Regional High School, out State Silver Medalists, were also Dust Devils when they played in HVSA youth travel. These young ladies are ready to work hard to keep up that standard, but these 2008 Girls say they will be working for gold.
The Dust Devils are coached by Ben Chrnelich, Dan Pagnotta, and Chris Sullivan.
