Hopewell Valley Emergency Services Specialist Promoted to Lieutenant

    On June 28th at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Hopewell Township Board of Fire Commissioners, Hopewell Valley Emergency Services Specialist Robert J. Bailey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.

    Lieutenant Bailey has served as a Specialist for the past five years with the Department and has been a volunteer firefighter in Hopewell Valley for the past eleven years.

    He is a graduate of Mercer County Community College with a degree in Fire Science and Building Design, and has received several awards during his career including the department’s Life Saving Award and the Mercer County 200 Club Award for Valor.

    Lieutenant Bailey will be assigned as a supervisor for Hopewell Valley Emergency Services at Station 52 in Hopewell, and resides in Hopewell Township with his wife, Megan, and their two children.
