The Hopewell Valley Uniformed Firefighters Association and the Hopewell Valley YMCA are sponsoring a community food drive to support the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry.
Residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable items, with priority needs including:
Baking powder/soda
Canned fruit in juice
Cooking oils
Flour
Healthy children’s snacks
Low-sodium canned chicken
Mayonnaise
Parmalat shelf-stable milk
Peanut butter
Sugar (brown & white)
Whole-grain cereal
Other non-perishable goods
Donation Drop-Off Locations
Items may be delivered to the following community sites:
HT Municipal Building – 201 Washington Crossing Pennington Rd.*
Union Fire Company – 1396 River Rd.*
Hopewell Fire Department – 4 Columbia Ave.*
Pennington Quality Market – 25 Route 31 South
ShopRite – 2555 Pennington Rd.
Stop & Shop – 800 Denow Rd.
Hogan Self Storage – 1577 Reed Rd.
*Municipal building and fire department sites accept donations Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.
