Hopewell Valley to Celebrate Second Annual Heritage Weekend

by MercerMe Staff

The second annual Hopewell Valley Heritage Weekend will take place on Memorial Day weekend from Thursday, May 23 through Monday, May 27. Multiple organizations across Hopewell Valley will offer a full weekend of events to celebrate the area’s rich heritage.

Partnering organizations include The Hopewell Museum, Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum, Hopewell Valley Historical Society, Stoutsburg Cemetery Association, Pennington African Cemetery Association, Hopewell Valley Veterans Association, Hopewell Public Library, Pennington Public Library, and Washington Crossing Park Association NJ.

The event is also supported by generous individual and corporate sponsorships and grants from Pennington Day Grant Committee and Hopewell Harvest Fair’s Community Grant Program. These funds assist the group in offering fascinating, living and local history to the Hopewell Valley community free of charge.
