How to keep green – upcoming events

As Hopewell Valley Green Week draws to a close, perhaps you are looking to learn more about living more sustainably.  If so, check out the programs being offered by the Mercer County Sustainability Coalition from April 24 through April 26. 

The week full of events, called “Greening Together”, begins with outdoor activities including the Live Green Kit give-away on April 24 (coinciding with the same event that is ending Green Week). 

Here’s a list of all the events you can join in on:

Sat, Apr 24: Live Green Kit Give-Away and Bingo Scavenger Hunt
9 – 10am at Hopewell Borough Park (South Greenwood Ave, Hopewell Borough)
11am – noon at Woolsey Park (Pennington-Washington Crossing Road, Hopewell Township)
1 – 2pm at Kunkel Park (King George Road, Pennington Borough)

Sun, Apr 25, 3pm: Climate Deep Dive 

Mon, Apr 26, 7pm: Journey to Zero Waste 

Tues, Apr 27, 7pm: Trenton Talks Transportation

Wed, Apr 28, 7pm: Water Wednesday

Thurs, Apr 29, 6:30pm: Ultimate Green Kahoot

Thurs, Apr 29, 7pm: Green Infrastructure

Fri, Apr 30, 2:30pm & 6:30pm: Arbor Day
