A new photography exhibit by Kim Robinson is now on display at the Mercer County Library – Hopewell Branch, offering a quiet, wintry look at the natural and built landscape of the Hopewell Valley.
Titled A Winter “Fowl”, the exhibit blends images of winter, birds, and some of our local bridges. Together, the photographs document the winter season through a series that feels both local and contemplative.
Robinson, a board member of the Hopewell Valley Historical Society and regular contributor to MercerMe, came to photography after a career in Financial Audit. She studied at Rider University and the University of Wisconsin before choosing to step away from full-time professional work to raise her family. As her children entered elementary school, Robinson launched a photography business, exploring portraiture, landscapes, and everyday scenes that caught her eye.
Her work has been sold through an art gallery in Frenchtown, featured in magazines, highlighted through her stories and contributions at MercerMe, and used in materials for several nonprofit organizations.
Robinson lives in Harbourton with her husband Greg and their children.
The exhibit is displayed in the historical society’s case at the Hopewell Branch of the Mercer County Library, located just past the reference desk on the right, and is free to view during regular library hours.
