Whether you’re a dedicated MercerMe supporter or you’re new to the community, there may be some things about MercerMe you didn’t know! To commemorate our 10th year, we’re rolling out a series of articles to reintroduce ourselves, let you know how to make the most of your news access, and how to participate.

MercerMe is Hopewell Valley’s only source of quality, independent, daily news! In 10 years, we’ve published more than 300K posts and have been read over 3.3 million times.

MercerMe is:

  • Hyperlocal: We only cover Hopewell Valley. This is your news!
  • Digital: Immediate access to local news from any device at any time. No wasted paper.
  • Independent: We are community members committed to quality coverage.
  • Community supported: We rely on subscriptions to keep the news coming. Local journalism needs you!

Some topics to look forward to:

  • Who we are, What we do
  • Why it matters or doesn’t
  • How to support / What a subscription is
  • News in your inbox – newsletter overview and signup
  • How to contact / how to contribute content
  • How to advertise
  • How to submit news
  • How to submit events
  • How to submit Letters to the Editor

We also want to hear from you. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact us! Over this year, we will send out reader participation surveys to find out what we’re doing right and what we aren’t. This is the community’s news — let’s make sure it works for Hopewell Valley.
