On Tuesday, the Hopewell Valley Boys Soccer team played in the semifinals of the Mercer County Tournament against Pennington. Hopewell played better in the second half, not conceding a goal, but was unable to score one either, losing the game 5-0 to Pennington.

Knocked out of the Mercer County Tournament, Hopewell played only one other game this week, a makeup against Nottingham. The Bulldogs played much better in this game, scoring goals at will in the first half to build up a 7-0 lead at the half. Last week the Timberlane Middle School Boys A  soccer team wrapped up their season with a series of three victories: 3-0 over Community MS on Monday, 1-0 over Thomas Grover MS on Wed, and an 8-1 victory over Princeton Day School on Thursday.

These wins put the cap on an amazing season where the boys stayed undefeated with a record of 11-0, including 9 shutouts.
