Hopewell Valley Central High School
Hopewell Valley Boys Basketball returned to action on Tuesday hosting Warren Hills. In a total team effort, Hopewell got scoring from 7 players in a 60-41 win. They were led by Brendan O’Reilly’s 16 points (4 three pointers). Ryan Kuuskvere followed with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Kevin Ellis and Jake O’Grady each had 8 points.
Friday afternoon Rancocas Valley traveled to Hopewell Valley. Hopewell topped Rancocas 54-50. Brendan O’Reilly exploded again, leading Hopewell with 22 points (6 three pointers). Kevin Ellis followed with 12. Ryan Kuuskvere was strong underneath pulling down 10 rebounds. The Bulldogs travel to Jackson Liberty on Tuesday to begin the Central Jersey Group 3 state tournament.
