This week the Hopewell Valley boys volleyball team played only one match (after playing four last week), falling 2-1 to Rancocas Valley. The boys started off strong, winning the first set by a score of 25-21 with Larry Kennedy getting multiple kills. In the second set the boys began struggling with their serves and the Bulldogs lost 25-20. In the last set, the boys’ attacking was not strong enough to compensate for their serving, and Hopewell lost a tight set by a score of 25-23. Larry Kennedy had a great game with nine kills and 3 digs, while Armaan Desai recorded six kills and a block. Saahith Kusupudi had 22 assists, Eli Miller tallied four kills, Christopher Sawicki had 3 kills and 5 digs, and Vincent Huang had 5 digs for the Bulldogs. -Emilie Sawicki
